Your shredder will need oil

Keeping your shredder well lubricated is an essential part of ensuring the long, smooth running of the unit.

After a period of time shredders that are not oiled will start to shred fewer sheets, be prone to jamming and may affect your manufacturers warranty.

I can't really fault the shredder. It gets used regularly and is excellent for a small office environment. Security wise, the grade of particle is way ahead of any other shredder we have used. The safe sense cut-off is a bit fiddly to use, but we don't tend to use that any way - it remains in the override position. For those who choose to use it, we imagine getting used to it would be very easy.

Altogether a resounding 5 out of 5
