		What's the difference between strip cut and cross cut? Strip cut (also known as "straight cut") The paper is cut vertically into long strips. The width of cuts can vary in size according to the cost and security level of the shredder. Strip cutting is a faster method but generally less secure than cross cutting. Cross cut (also known as "confetti cut / particle cut") A criss-cross format is used to shred the paper into small pieces. It can be a little slower than comparable strip cut shredding, however the security is better as an A4 sheet will be cut into hundreds of little pieces rather than as few as 30 on a basic strip cut. What's the shredding size? This figure details the size of each tiny shred the shredder will produce. On a basic strip cut shredder, the paper may be cut into long strips 7mm wide - an A4 sheet will therefore be cut into 30 strips. If the shredder is cross cut, it will also shred horizontally and therefore offer much better security - a basic cross cut shredder will shred at 3.9 x 23mm - therefore an A4 sheet will be cut into over 600 pieces! Some shredders offer additional features which enhance their shredding capability. Auto start / stop Some shredders have a sensor built in which will automatically start the shredder once paper is fed in. Once the paper has gone through, it will automatically stop shredding. Continuous run time The continuous run time of a shredder indicates how long it can operate without the motor over heating. A lot of shredders will only offer 2-10 minutes of continuous run time, however some of the higher-end machines offer 24 hour run time! 		When will I receive delivery? We offer next working day delivery to main land UK on all of our shredders. Accessories and consumables may take around 4-5 days. Orders placed after 15:30 will be delivered within 2 working days. Should we be out of stock or unable to deliver within these timescales we will contact you to inform you of the delay. Some shredders, due to their size, will require special delivery if you are unable to offer assistance to the driver. We will always contact you prior to delivery should this be the case. I've since seen the product cheaper elsewhere, can you refund the difference? Yes. We will guarantee to beat any other website price, or refund the difference should you see it cheaper elsewhere within 14 days of your purchase. Yes, we're happy to arrange for payment to be sent by cheque or BACS and we will despatch your goods the day we receive your order. We will forward your invoice by email or post, which ever you prefer. Can we lease shredders? We offer a full range of finance options to suit your needs. Many of our products are listed with a typical finance example based on a three or five year term. Please contact us for the most competitive rates available at the time of your order. As with the cash price of our goods, we will compete to beat any finance offer you may find elsewhere. What warranty do I get? All products are UK supplied and include the full manufacturers' warranty. As a general guide, most products are supplied with 12 months next day onsite warranty.
