After a period of time shredders that are not oiled will start to shred fewer sheets, be prone to jamming and may affect your manufacturers warranty.

It's a great shredder, we have had no problems :)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Only gripe would be when i shredded a credit card a piece flew up & caught my eye. Could have been nasty, luckily it wasn't.
Other than that, i can find no faults. Brilliant purchase.
