It is the longest lasting shredder I have used, my previous shredders having developed faults within a couple months. One year on, it is still chewing paper as well as it did when I first bought it.

We are very happy with this shredder and would rate it at 4 out of 5 in performance, if we did have any adverse comment it would be that the bin fills very quickly in our busy office.
