After a period of time shredders that are not oiled will start to shred fewer sheets, be prone to jamming and may affect your manufacturers warranty.

We have been completely satisfied with the shredder so far. It is not too noisy and it is efficient. It shreds the paper and the 'bin full' sensor prevents blockages, which used to be an issue with the old shredder. A good piece of kit.

Nothing written about oiling etc. in catalogue - maybe we should have known that anyway.
